QPEP: An Actionable Approach to Secure and Performant Broadband From Geostationary Orbit
In this paper we present a novel encrypted performance enhancing proxy that enables secure communications over high-latency geostationary satellite links with significantly better performance than traditional VPN-based encryption solutions.

A Tale of Sea and Sky: On the Security of Maritime VSAT Communications
In this paper we prove practical attacks against maritime VSAT networks with less than $400 of widely-available television equipment. The implications of this threat are assessed experimentally through the analysis of more than 1.3 TB of real-world captures.
